Using ground-breaking AI technology, CloudNC automates manufacturing processes end-to-end and creates the world’s most advanced, efficient factories.
Leading the newly formed design department, I was responsible for spearheading a strategic rebrand to reflect its growing presence in the marketplace. The rebrand included a defined purpose, strategic positioning, brand character, and visual identity, which was website, sales materials, videos, print assets, and TOV. The new, more polished and professional identity ultimately supported the organisation in successfully raising £36.7m in Series B funding.

Visual Expression is the physical manifestation of a brand’s identity through design elements like logos, typography, colour palettes, and imagery.
VISUAL IDENTITY
The visual identity was updated to reflect the "Cutting Edge" promise of the brand strategy. It utilises sharp, precision-focused graphics and "clean/sustainable" imagery using whitespace and modern industrial aesthetics to mirror the mission of a "clean industrial revolution".GTM STRATEGY
The GTM strategy was based on a Global Ecosystem Expansion that prioritised software scalability over physical production. By embedding their proprietary AI CAM Assist into the industry’s "Big Three" CAM platforms (Autodesk, Mastercam, Siemens) and deploying a tiered reseller network across North America and India, the plan was to move from a service-heavy model to a high-margin SaaS platform. This strategy would reframe AI-precision through the lens of Aerospace-grade compliance, effectively turning the global skills crisis into a primary driver for rapid, low-friction adoption.
Grant’s work on brand was transformational for CloudNC. He led a full and successful rebrand of the company, and also led on materials design for investor, sales and internal presentations.
